Good Morning,

Thank you so much for changing my world, for making my job easier, for telling it as it is.

I’m a chef on an oil rig and have worked out here for nearly 19 years. Over the years I have tried to promote healthy eating, changing menu items, and trying to explain the benefits of cutting down on sugar and fats.

My partner interviewed Damon last week for a newspaper story and came home ranting about this film. I then watched the film on the Friday just gone. I then told my night shift crew about the film, they watched it and told others, you get the idea.

Our small crew of 12 people, are all now sugar free. Apart from a few us getting grumpy on day two and three, we are all starting to see the benefits of getting added and processed sugars out of our diets. This makes my job easier, because it’s easier to prepare healthy dishes than to prepare processed foods i.e. cakes slices etc.

To be perfectly honest, I’m not sure how long some of the crew will stay on the lifestyle change, but I know there are four of us who are determined that this is not a fad, but a change in the way we think, behave and consume food.

Thank you once again for changing my life. By the way, since Friday (4 days) I have lost almost 2 kg’s, this is a combination of some gym work and dietary changes.
